Newbie online....

Hello fellow warriors!!! Well, I would like to introduce myself a little. I am currently a wahm, doing Medical Transcription, and I love and hate the wahm thing at the same time. I love being home with the kids, I have two, a little boy (3 1/2) and a little girl (1 year), waking up with them and all the fun stuff that comes with being a mom. On the other hand, I hate working at home right now. I guess "hate" is a strong word, so I will say that I am not a fan of it. Had someone told me the truth about working from home before I had eagerly jumped into....well the outcome would have been different. Why am I not a fan of working at home....no time to myself, working late at night doing transcription is hard (many nights falling asleep at the keyboard hoping I didn't send the physicians a report with jibberjabber on it), and I just can't get my life in order. When I am not with the children I am working, and the relationship between my hubby and I is suffering (that would need to be a whole other post..seriously). I know it is just me, there are millions of wah-moms out there who have made it work. Two questions for all of you, does your husband help out? Do you put your child(ren) in daycare at all?

So, all that being said...sorry for the rant...I am now trying to make some extra money online because my husband and I are living paycheck to paycheck with no extra....for anything. I thought this would be a little easier....hahaha...pick a niche, market it, and sell. Oh...okay...now I have five...no scratch that seven mailboxes all filled with "free" systems, free businesses...wow I am in over my head and well, to say the least, this is by no means easy. After totally being niave and falling for the "company forced matrix" of a certain company and the "get in line and get paid" with the other.. no one ever told me you can't just sign up with anybody, that it is not actually the main company spillover you will get, but the spillover of your upline...told you I was a newbie... I have since cancelled these two because, well, lesson learned.

I think that I will use this blog as my main focus....see which ones I really want to concentrate on....

So I guess what I am looking for is a few words of encouragement. Can a newbie on a limited time budget (probably 10 to 15 hours a week) actual make it? No, I am not trying to get rich (although that would be a nice surprise) ...being rich is not in my cards... What is the best piece of advice you were given when first starting out.

Also, I am looking for other streams of income...which would you recommend?
