48 Fat And Why Am I Even Here ?

What started out as a casual stroll through the internet one day in November 2008, has all of a sudden got myself caught up in this wonderful world of online businesses. - blogs - ezines - articles - websites - pop ups - etc, etc, etc.I have had a successful business background working for other companies, working hard, putting profits into shareholders pockets, towing the so-called company line, whilst getting paid the same as every other person on your level, knowing all the time that to progress in the organization, a lot of butt kissing and being in the right circles is the only way up.
Then as I was strolling through the web, a light, or was it a glimpse of sheer genius, or maybe just a moment of madness. - BE MY OWN BOSS ! - WORK WHERE-EVER I WANT ! (BAHAMAS, BEACH, PUB, etc,) - WORK WHEN I WANT ! - WORK HOWEVER LONG I WANT ! - MAKE MONEY WHILST I SLEEP ! - ITS ALL SOUNDS SO GAWD DAM EASY, ISNT IT ?Where Did I Start ? - from home, no one else, just me, my computer, my stuffed dog Oscar, and a blank brain.I figured i needed to adopt the 'i know absolutely nothing about online businesses policy' and absorb as much as i could over time.
What Did I Need ? - A Computer - An Idea - What do i want my business to be ? - Money - A Website - The K.I.S.S. technique. (Keep It Simple Stupid) - Trusted Advice (big ask!)What Did I Do ?I cruised the net for next two weeks until i got completely bamboozled about the whole deal and then i took a 5 day break completely from the computer.When i came back i took the attitude that if i was going to do this gig, lets find something i can get started with, so whilst my first business venture gets going , i can be learning at the same time.
The next day,I clicked on maybe 100 different sites all offering, - EARN X AMOUNT OF DOLLARS - FREE SET UP - ALL HERE IN ONE BIG PACKAGE - MONEY BACK IF NOT 100% SATISFIED - ETC, ETC, ETC.
Who Did I Choose ?I finally went with one business module which could have been one of many.I chose this module because it seemed to have good product endorsement, everything required in one location, set strategies to follow, and all the information i require to assist in my business venture.
How Is It All Going ?Well thus far i have set up my website, and it has been operating for the past 8 days as of the 3rd Dec.It has cost me approx $1000 au thus far and i haven't got a clue how my business is traveling in relation to money in my pocket, but my mentor's keep assuring me as long as i stick to the plan, my wildest dreams may come true.I will say this so far is, what i have learnt in the last month is absolutely a mind blowing experience, and if i come out of all this with little or nothing the ride is definitely worth the trip.
A word of advice to anyone reading this, is that if you take on one of these modules, stick to the one task at a time rule and do not get bitten by all of this stuff offering you everything bar the kitchen sink, as a lot of it, as i have found out is completely unnecessary.I plan to finish the module and then start to sort through the myriad of add ons etc, etc, etc.48Fat And Thats Where I'm At Thus Far.
