Sometimes we learn something new and do not even realise it. It might be something small that could affect our future dramatically and we didn't notice. Or it may be something high that we cannot help but see it.
This blog is basically a journal of lessons I have learnt.

Bum Marketers Bum Me Out!

A few months ago I decided to use an article submission service to add articles to my sites as I don't have the time for it.
According to the service's features each article is unique - something to do with with how the system works.
Then the "fun" began.
Running nearly 200 sites I don't have time to weed out the "good" authors from the bad, so they all go.
I will probably use the advice I've seen on the WF forum a number of times and start outsourcing for articles in future.
In the mean time the content building will go a bit slower than I had hoped.

Then the "fun" began.
- Off topic articles being dumped on my sites
- Articles with only slight variations being submitted to different sites (a number of my sites are in the same or related niches)
- Articles with only slight variations being submitted to same site
- The "same" articles resubmitted every few days
- Links in the articles point to totally unrelated sites
- Links in the articles don't open a new page
