If you're honestly in the Internet Marketing business to make money, then you need to ditch the old traditional methods and stop listening to "gurus".

There is no such thing as easy money in the Internet Marketing realm. Infact, it is one of the most hyped-up myths of all time.

Internet Marketing "Gurus" will use any and all means necessary to convince you that their information products work and that you can build lists of millions of buyers overnight. To the real professionals in the business, all of this is absolute nonsense.

There is no shortcut to building large lists of high quality subscribers and customers. Building large lists of customers can take months and even years, but the end-result is terrific and ensures that you have a running cash-flow at all times by promoting new products frequently.

However, there is a catch to this.

You can either:

Invest months worth of your time in building targeted email lists via setting up Optin Pages and spending thousands of dollars investing in PPC,

OR

Invest only a FRACTION of that money in robust methods of building quality email lists of only those subscribers who THEMSELVES have REQUESTED offers to be sent to them.

The latter option will allow you to contact already waiting customers whereas the former method will need you to wait for a long time before those same customers come looking for you.

Lesson Learnt:

Be smart, it's a competitive age. Don't wait for customers to come to you, go out and find customers yourself.

This principle applies to any business in the world, and is one of the major reasons behind the success of some of the big names in the Forture 500 today.
