OK, maybe you have tried a few methods to get traffic. What have you done so far?
- Posted some comments on a few people’s blogs?
- Joined a forum and included a link to your site in your profile?
- Tried Google Adwords and burn’t a hole in your credit card.
Yep – if you are finding it tough to get free traffic and a lot of it you are not alone. Getting traffic would have to be one of the biggest reasons people quit.
So what are some things that you should do to get more free targeted traffic?
The best thing you can do is;
Think carefully about the type of person who is likely to buy your product. Are they young/old/technical minded/love social networks etc etc.
Once you discover who you are trying to target – then go to the places they hang out and hang out with them. (Online).
They will then be attracted to you and your site naturally through the same interests and then will visit your site.
There are plenty of places like this such as Forums or Blogging communities.
Spend your time building up your small community and you will get traffic.
Not just any traffic either – but the best type of traffic
