Article Writing - Do You Write For The Readers Or The Robots?

Without a constant flow of fresh relevant content, search engines are dead in the water.
Somehow the line can become a little blurred when it comes to writing articles that provide real information versus providing the search engines with something to chew on.
Writing articles, for me was something I was not interested in and the thought of trying to put together a few sentences without sounding like a complete idiot quite frankly terrified me.
However, like everything else, once you try it a couple of times and see just a glimmer of results somehow the motivation begins to intensify.
The truth of the matter is if you write in your own voice, it won't matter what the search engines do, because your audience will find you. If they like you, they'll continue to seek out your stuff.
If you want to cream the competition, don't go crazy with the whole keyword thing. I'm not saying to ignore it altogether, but don't lose countless hours stressing over getting the perfect keywords.
Just write and write a lot. Some articles will be longer than others. Don't worry about it. Just keep writing. Write, write, write. The money will come and it will come faster than you expect.
A closing analogy for you. If you work a 9-5, you know that it's harder to look busy than it is to be busy. If you watch the clock for an hour, it could seem like an eternity, but if you get involved with your work... time flies.
It's the same deal with writing for a living. If you think about it, that's essentially what all of us marketers do. Our work is leveraged en-masse by the Google's of the world in exchange for a piece of the action.
We're all just a bunch of content providers. So get busy providing fresh engaging, thought provoking and inciteful content and get paid by writing for the readers. If you do that, the robots will reward you by indexing your content so your readers can find it.
