You ever found yourself asking that question?

Probably more than once after a few attempts, right?

Some people make it look so easy and yet when you try, somehow the recipe doesn't come out like the cake it was supposed to be.

Could it be information overload?

Maybe. If one thing doesn't work after a couple of shots, it must be the program or the advice. So we move onto something else. We'll give that a couple tries and if that doesn't work, then it's back to the drawing board. Sound familiar?

Isn't it utterly frustrating to keep starting over again? and again and again...

Perhaps the problem isn't information overload. Maybe it's something else. But what?

Before we set off that bomb, let me ask you this: "Are you the kind of person who succeeds at everything you do on the first try?" Does everything instantly come together for you?

Do you think everything instantly falls into place for people other than yourself?

Making money whether it be online or off involves... work.

Were you always good at your job or was there a learning curve? When it came to paying the bills and putting food on the table...

quitting because we had to learn how to do the job first was not an option.

So why was the job difficult in the first place? Here's the bomb...

Lack of confidence. Grrrr!

It's only natural to lack confidence in your ability to do something when you haven't done it before.

Anything new that involves a learning curve is going to involve personal growth.

I remember when there was a time I couldn't keep a job for more than a year and it wasn't because the job was that hard to do. It was the low level of confidence I had in myself that convinced me I couldn't last any longer than that. So every year without fail...

...fired or laid off. CRAP.

Today I can't get fired even if I wanted to. (I mean I could, but the likelihood is dramatically lower) The difference?

Confidence. So how do you get that confidence to start making money online?

Grow. Grow internally. Allow room for mistakes, allow room for disappointment and most importantly...

Give yourself permission to succeed.

99% of all the success stories you read about started where you are. Some had it worse.

Are they smarter than you?

Do they have some special mystical powers?

They had confidence in their ability to succeed regardless of the setbacks, mistakes, and momentary failures and today they are the people many idolize, look up to and respect.

You are the next success story, everything you need to succeed is right between your ears. You have what it takes,

BUT... have to take it out and use it.

Why I Am Not Making Money Online

Nice insights. A very timely post for me. I have been trying to make money online for the past one year and a half, but made worst than I expected. It's been only 2 weeks since I start building a new life, and trying other strategies.

What was my problem before? Yes, you're right. It is the lack of confidence that can prevent us to succeed, but I had a lot of them when I started - still I failed.

Three weeks ago, I paused a bit and re-assessed myself from my first step up to the last one. Bingo! I realized the main cause of my problem - I am doing things for the wrong purpose.

I wanted to make money online, but I was more of a sociable blogger than a good product seller. I want my blog to be neat for my readers, so I minimized the the ads. I want my blog to be on top of Google, but did not optimized link building. In short, I was very passionate to win followers and succeeded. I had subscribers, commentators, and friends. But I forgot one thing - I also want to make money online.

There were tons of other mistakes and now, I am trying to pick up the pieces. No, not to made them whole again but to use them as my reference to correct my mistakes.

Come to think of it, why not put all of my mistakes all together in a blog and find other mistakes that bloggers are doing? Then make some solid analysis and explanation why such mistakes were mistakes. Of course, it's not easy to admit the details of my mistakes. I don't think someone would dare to do that openly.

But hey, I am doing it for more than a week. I don't know how many posts I can create there, but one thing is for sure - every step is now being carefully studied. Of course, I am not doing this alone and I know I cannot do it alone.

By the way, I also like the name of this forum - warrior. It seems that I came to the right place at the right time.
