’The First Steps’ – ‘Mentor Chosen’ – By Gary - ‘TheHat’

Hi all...well here we are again back on the Blog, doing my stuff as I diary my First Steps in The Business of Internet Marketing and this topic covers the elements of my choice of Mentorship.
Much as I am still in the early stages of my business, based on my research, experience and my personal meetings with actual Internet Millionaires, I do have incredible proven faith in the fact that this business does work, is prosperous, profitable and can eventually bring you extreme wealth.
The fact is virtually anyone can start a business online as long as you are motivated, starting a profitable Internet Business can be your way to truly live life on your terms...This business has to suit you personally, as despite the aspects of flexibility and relax, realistically this is truly a business and like any business you have to put in to get back.
This means you have to be prepared to invest your interests, acumen and finances on an absolute ongoing basis, it has to become a second nature, your something to get out of bed for, your baby, your game, call it what you want as long as it has your dedicated mindset focused and channelled to achieve success.
Recognise The Prosperity – ‘Don’t Give Up’
It could be you see and recognise the prosperity of this business but it does not quite suit you, as it you have to turn your entire means of existing natural business or career knowledge and instincts into something entirely new to you. This is effectively known as stepping out of your comfort zone and this can actually bring fear to a person, hence it can send you in circles of becoming overwhelmed with different choices of what to do.
Some people actually become extremely frustrated and give up, as for some it can be a massive task to make that change and take on this new obstacle of a business. Some people aimlessly continue for months or even years and never ever commit. Sometimes the same faces are seen at different events, which is fine from a networking point of view, however they still do not make the decision or take the plunge.
Six Figure Plus Income
To be honest what goes against the grain for me is the technical aspects of this business as I am not a Techy or a Geek nor do I want to be or intend to be.
However I truly recognise the potential of this industry, based on this recognition I have generated some underlying passion, which has become my means of drive and enthusiasm. To be honest the passion will only become an instinctive passion once I see this thing pay me money.
What keeps me going is I genuinely know I can tap into an existing system, rather than create my own and still make a Six Figure Plus Income. I also genuinely know that almost everything can be successfully outsourced to overseas experts at low costs.
You see I am a delegator a manager, who wishes to work and drive smart and I am also a long in the tooth entrepreneur. It’s like I do not wish to build my own engine to drive a car I would rather use a system in a car which is already built for me to simply get in and drive it. I do not wish to maintain it myself I simply intend to have someone maintain the business of the engine for me.
‘Ready To Go’
The key is to gain the knowledge of how to drive sales to the business, so basically one needs to be taught how to attract the correct audience, as in generation of traffic. Once the correct traffic is generated all we have to do is send it to the expert sales system, have them convert the potential sales into business income and so award you generous commission.
Believe me this philosophy is the best system to work with and continue with, as if done correctly just as your Mentor will teach you, then be ready to look ahead at a generous means of income, so good you can expect these earnings to replace the earnings of the average business or job and much more.
So once you have positively identified your Mentor, and as I said in my last post, you are ‘Ready To Go’ then be sure your Mentor is offering this philosophy of business Partnership.
I am now ‘Ready To Go’ and I have reached a point where I have chosen my Mentor. I have personally met the man at a seminar or Internet Marketing Summit as it was called. Now, approximately 4 months after meeting him I have been and gone wayward, have invested in other directions and lost money due to distraction. I have also compared him to others and carried out some extensive research. To be honest a lot of the others are offering a similar or same philosophy as he. But the attraction for me was the connection of relating to him personally, and if a partnership is to work there has to be a compatible means of understanding.
I have invested into the higher level of partnership to enable me the highest level of commission earnings. This is not absolute necessary as if you have a similar opportunity at a lower level to suit your pocket then go for that level with confidence. If it means later you are kicking yourself as you have gained lower commissions, due to the success then that is tough, ‘that’s life’ do not be dismayed just write off the losses and buy into the higher level. You will soon see those attractive commissions, which is your effective medication to financial recovery.
I have the system....however!!
So that’s me ‘I have the system’ – I can see the philosophy is simple – I understand the system and how it is engineered and structured. I am able to explain to someone how it all operates, I can Talk the Talk, however to learn myself how to do it is another matter, due to my lack of theoretical ability.
Basically guys I am not a studier or self teacher, I am unable to fully concentrate on any narrative, absorb and implement what I have read. I am even weak at watching a video and doing the same. It all seems too quick it’s like rewind – replay – rewind – replay, which quite honestly does my head in as I just do not have the patience, however I must persevere, I must not give up, I must pursue this thing.
The Mentor said Gary if you are unsure - never be afraid – just ask – no matter what - so I did. I said you know these detailed teachings, well they are not detailed enough for me (as this is the failings of my nature) So my Mentor did me a somewhat repetitive video more personalised to my ‘child level’ and guess what as frustrating as it was in a couple of days (with a little kick ass from the Wife) the penny slightly dropped enough to give me the confidence to progress.
To be perfectly honest the teachings of my Mentor are absolutely precise – to the point – and at a level of overview as well as at a level of detail. Now if you are theoretical and do not get confused and overwhelmed and impatient as I do, the teachings will not blind you. His way of presentation and explanation is amazing and effective. However unfortunately my means of absorbing and storing due to my personality are not good, but hey guys I got there, and if I can get there almost anyone can.
Milestone
I am now in the first steps of running an advert for one of my Mentors front end products – I have everything set up for first thing Monday morning. I will send over the marketing requirements to the digital advertising company, and initiate my first run as I await in anticipation of seeing that done, of which for me will be a milestone in itself. Never mind the earnings, that’s not my priority right now, as my priority is to get this right and implement the system correctly, as I look ahead at the horizon of success of being able to do this naturally.
That is it from me Marketeers keep tuning in as I walk you through the implements of my first genuine steps in the IM game. Now I have my mentor – Now I am beginning to understand how to commence – It is only a matter of time – for myself and you guys to see my success.
