Instagram Influencer Marketing - Top 3 Things to Consider

So you have heard about Instagram Influencer Marketing and you want to give it a try for your product or business...here are a few things to consider before finalizing your first attempt.
1. Do not test out 1 influencer and then give up. Each influencer can have a very different group of followers. Testing multiple influencers is key to vetting your offer. Sometimes, the influencer may have the right following...but they may have made the post at the wrong time! I would try at least 5-10 different influencers.
2. Ask advice from the influencer. Don't just send a pic and text to the influencer and ask them to post. Ask the influencer what types of posts/offers they see that work the best. Ask the peak times to post. Ask if they have any bulk post deals...to help spread out the posts over a period of time. A lot of times, you can see success after the 2nd or 3rd post because the followers warm up to the product and recognize it!
3. Find a large influencer that has a very targeted following. Don't start too broad. Find an influencer that has at least 500k followers for something that as closely matches your offer as possible.
