Accelerated Achievement Means Going Above and Beyond
Accelerated achievement for most Internet Marketers means going above and beyond the average. You can learn all kinds of skills, techniques and marketing methods, but if you don’t put in the extra effort necessary to apply what you have learned, you will not likely achieve the success you desire.
That extra effort might mean going the extra mile, working an extra hour or two – each day – studying a training guide thoroughly (not just glancing at it briefly), sacrificing some relaxation time, giving up some social activities, pushing yourself to finish an article or project at the end of the day instead of putting it off until another day.
It is human nature to try to find the easiest, fastest way to get something done, and that is where most aspiring entrepreneurs fail. As soon as the thing they are trying to do requires a little extra effort, a little sweat, a little sacrifice, they back off and complain that the method doesn’t work. They look for an easier way to do it, some way to cut corners and reduce the pain of personal responsibility.
In most cases, they end up chasing their tails. It becomes an endless cycle of searching for the easy way and never achieving anything beyond the mediocre.
It takes strength and courage to break away from old habits and push yourself to new heights. But it is possible and for those who manage it, accelerated achievement is their reward.
I recently wrote a blog post about going above and beyond the average to succeed. I included some quotes from inspirational achievers, including one of my favourite motivational leaders, Brian Tracy.
One of the quotes from Brian that I used was, "Always put in more than you take out or you’ll never take out more than you’re getting now."
In order to succeed above the average, you will have to push yourself to perform above the average.
If you truly seek accelerated achievement in your Internet business and in your life, you must identify the key areas where you can purposefully put in the extra effort necessary to go above and beyond.
