Why Free Article Directories Are A Must
Internet Marketers use article marketing for a few different reasons and here is why I think free article directories are a must.
First, when you submit articles to the directories, you get free exposure. Visitors to a directory are looking for certain types of information. When they search for key words that you use, your articles come up in the searches and if you have a strong headline and introduction, chances are they will click to read your article.
If they find that your article offers valuable insight or solutions to problems or issues, chances are they will click the link in your author resource box that points to your website, looking for more information.
Second, the more quality articles you submit to free article directories, the more you become known as an expert in your niche. Submitting only a few articles every now and then to a few directories here and there is not going to achieve this result.
For best effect, you should make it a habit to submit articles to directories on a regular basis; weekly is best, if you can manage it. Build up a large volume of articles in each directory and work at getting your articles into numerous directories. This may take time if you are just starting out, but it is time well spent that will eventually pay off well.
Third, the more articles you get into directories, the more popular your website will become in the search engines. If you are using your author resource box well and using keyword anchor text links pointing back to related pages on your website, you will eventually begin to see higher rankings in the search engines and increased search engine traffic.
Every successful Internet Marketer includes article marketing in their ongoing efforts. We all have our favourite directories, but we should try to expand our reach by adding new directories to our list as time goes on.
