Many Marketing Consultants, Coaches and Social Media advisers are often on broadcast mode, boasting how much money they've made, how many mailings they've done and the respone they got recommending other people's products to their list. They often get invited to do talks at their mate's events and sell at the back of the room to those from their mate's list who who were invited to attend the event.

But in the words of Stephen Covey, Should they not seek first to understand, then be understood?

Many are so "in your face" telling you how fantastic they are or to buy their mate's latest software, app or masterclass, they forget all about demonstrating their own knowledge, skills and how they can actually help their intended audience.

I'd like to try and change all of that.

So before PACKAGING, before PROMOTION via a host of different online and offline channelsl and tactics, before PERSUASION and how you'll close all the prospects you're generating, and finally, before PERFORMANCE and evaluating the effectiveness of your marketing...

...Let's take just one aspect of your marketing - Your POSITIONING, and ask yourself the following questions...

• Have You Created a Prospect Profile so you will know exactly who it is you're targeting online?
• Do you Know exactly where suspects, prospects and Joint Venture Partners hang out & what they're discussing?
• Have You Determined what their likes, dislikes, wants, needs, pains and frustrations are, and how your products and services can address, fix or solve every of their problems?
• Do You Know How To Build your list fast by knowing how to approach potential Joint Venture Partners and how to pitch them your ideas and propositions on a revenue share basis?
• Do you Know how many leads & signups you need to give you the revenue you want.
• Do You exactly how much traffic you need to give you the revenue you want?
• Do you know how much your time is really costing you & how you can save days, even weeks of your valuable time spent on managing your marketing?
• Do you know how much you should be charging for your hourly and daily fees if selling yourself through elance or odesk.com or direct to clients at your appointments?
• Do you know how to determine your cost per sale, your cost per lead, and how to calculate the Life Time Value of each and every one of your customers?
• Do you do specific Keyword Analysis and research to find out which phrases are pulling prospective clients to your competitors?
• Have you Identified who your competitors are and which channels they're successfully using to market themselves - online?
• Do you get instantly notified every time your competitors try a new marketing approach online?
• Do you track & monitor 100% of your promotional activities online and offline, while successfully lowering your marketing acquisition costs and maximise your conversions?
• Do you calculate to the penny what your ROI is for shareholders, stakeholders and investors for both your ONLINE and OFFLINE marketing each and every month?

If you answered NO to 3 or more questions above, then maybe, just maybe, you need to revisit your marketing and get some help from someone who really wants to take an active interest in you and your marketing needs before you think about increasing your overdraft, stress levels or spending your investors', your life partner's or your own hard earned cash and not achieve the progress or results you or they want or need.
