Remember my previous post where I helped a friend set up an entertainment blog? It went pretty well, so well that Google penalized it. One day we just couldn't find it on Google (using the query site:domainname.com). We found out that one of the WordPress plugins that she was using caused the ban. So we removed that plugin and started submitting a reinclusion request. A couple of days later, the site is still nowhere to be found in the SERPs. So while we're waiting for the result of the request, I told my friend why not create a new blog but still continue to update the original blog. It is important for the two blogs not to contain similar content so as not to face a duplicate issue. Her new blog's name is Showbiz News Phil.

The moral lesson of this experience is just to strictly abide by Google's webmaster guidelines because if you do something that's against it, sooner or later you'll gonna get caught and all that hard work will go down the drain.
