Thoughts are powerful, especially repetitive thoughts, but a thought is infinitely more powerful when it is written down on paper. Writing something down strongly reinforces it in your mind (this is why writing up your own flash cards when studying is the absolute best way to learn something).

Take this simple challenge...

Write down EVERYTHING positive that happens to you or that you do for 2 weeks and see where you're at when the 2 weeks are over. This includes thoughts you have, goals, ideas, etc. as well as every positive thing that you do each day from letting someone cross the street in front of you to helping an older woman with her groceries, etc. (Obviously you don't want to write down the negatives because you don't want to give negative thoughts even more power.)

If you have an idea about something, especially something you're working on or something that you plan on working on... write it down. So many great ideas come and go, so it makes sense to put them down on paper to preserve them for a time that you can put them into action.

At the end of each day, go back an re-read your notes from the day and then each morning re-read the previous day's notes again.

Also, any time a negative thought creeps into your mind and you can't seem to shake it, go back and re-read all of your notes from the time you started doing this challenge.

Just the simple act of writing down everything positive that happens to you and re-reading it on a daily basis will change your life for the better.

Believe me when I say that at the end of the 2 weeks, you'll have a very positive outlook on things and you'll be a lot more productive and organized than you are now.
