Funnel Systems to Sort Traffic
Posted 7th August 2012 at 04:59 PM by Jeff Burritt
First, there's the traffic generation. Lastly is the offer. But in between is the funnel system which filters and sorts the traffic.
Driving cheap untargeted traffic to an offer is worthless. But when you add a funnel system, it helps pull the gold nuggets out of the tons of dirt.
Ideally, you'd want to drive targeted traffic in the first place, but for sake of discussion, we're just emphasizing the importance of how filtering through a funnel really helps you.
First, the funnel system can warm up your optins. Second, it encourages opt outs. So, you want to sort or separate the tire kickers from the soon-to-be buyers.
I rarely ever drive traffic to an offer, unless it's cpa or such. Most often I drive traffic to an optin funnel which then drips and suggest next steps for people to take.
I found that the buyers usually volunteer themselves. And it often surprises me who buys and who doesn't. It's hard to pick 'em. So I like the funnel sort 'em out for me.

It's for an online penny auction affiliate program I'm promoting. Big money in it.
