People often ask me how do you do social media marketing to build your business?
If you want to use social media as a marketing tool to build your leads for business or mlm affiliate programs and you should, you need to understand this.
Use Social Media Marketing Strategies To Build Your Brand. What it means, brand yourself as a leader. Only then, you will be able to attract leaders like flock of seagulls to your website and follow you. People only follow leaders.
Here is how I use social media marketing:-
First of all, I use social media to drive traffic to my sale pages or blog. I break my social marketing strategies to the following steps:
1. Use Twitter, Facebook, Myspace and YouTube to drive traffic to my blog/sales page.
My blog or sales pages serves as a hub where people can get to know more about me and what I do. On my blog, I have information about my business and what I sell. I also try to provide good content to my readers. You got to give good contents/informations before you can take.
2. Visitors enter my sale funnel.
Once my visitors click on a link to my sale page or blog, they will have to opt in to get more information. They are more likely to opt in after they read more about you on your blog.
3. Follow up.
The visitors have now turned into leads/prospects. They will receive autoresponder emails from me on a regular basis, providing more great content and information about products I have to offer.
4. After sale/No sale.
If they purchase any product from me and hopefully they will like it, they will then feedback to me or recommend it to other people via social media. If they don’t buy from me, they will still receive useful content from me via autoresponder emails, until they decide to opt out but that seldom happens. I have Even people that have opt out opt in to my autoresponder.
5. Repeat sale.
Now that they are in my list and I have built a relationship with them, I can recommend other products to them in the future.
These 5 steps basically sum up what I do with social media. There are many books and articles around which you can read. Social media is gaining huge momentum and whether you like it or not, it is going to stay. If you are in marketing, you have no choice but to learn more about it.
