My "How To Make The Money You Want" series will continue past the 3 parts that I originally planned on due to the overwhelming response! Hooray!

In part we have have come to the point of finding a company that you want to work for and realizing the products that you will be marketing. The main point at this point in the entrepreneurial and online marketing process is to stick with it! Many people fail because they do not make tons of money overnight. For someone that has no internet background or no name on the internet, these next steps could take a little longer. You have to build a presence online.

As mentioned, personal branding is VERY important. By personal branding, I mean getting yourself and your name out on the net to gain credibility. If you were selling me something and you have no foundation at all of online workings, I will probably go somewhere else. So, how do you build online credibility? It's really very simple! When you are starting to brand yourself, you must know the market that you will be appealing to with your products. Nail down your target market and stay that direction with all of your information. For example: If you am selling skin products my target market will be people that are interested in improving their skin and health minded people. Your information and research that you post would then need to be related to this field of study. Another example: If you are selling home based business opportunities, you would choose only "one" target market such as entrepreneurs, franchisees, home business, etc. All of the information that you post would then need to appeal to your target market. The main focus here is to keep all of your information consistent with what you are doing. Do not jump around to different markets. Become an expert at one market.

Get in touch with social media. Facebook is a great way to get followers and get some respectable credibility. Start a fan page. See am example at www.facebook.com/jeremyabarkerfanpage. Other social media works well also, such as Twitter, Better Networker, and Google Plus. For these media outlets you need to post articles and issues that people want to know about. (We will get into this topic later) Through social media you can network, and networking with other marketers, etc. is a very important first step with any "online" business. Is this an overnight action.. No... This takes time just as earning trust in your personal life with friends and other people you may come in contact with on a day to day basis. The good thing is this is not rocket science. Anyone can do it!

Another great way to create a presence online is through a blog. You can create a personal blog for free on sites such as WordPress.com or Blogger.com. Post relative content to what you are marketing. Offer solutions and tips to others. Do your research and create posts. The blog posts that you create can be posted to your Facebook, Twitter, and other social media outlets. A blog also offers free advertising for your products that you will market. Two good things at one for your business.

A third way to network and create an online presence for yourself is through forums. By interacting in forums you will have the opportunity to meet other people that are in the same industry and talk back and forth about what is working and what is not working, find new opportunities and joint ventures, and build a huge presence online. Interaction is a must in forums. Without interacting in conversations, nobody will ever know who you are and will never see the value that you are able to give. For the internet marketing market, the Warrior Forum is a great place to start. There are forums for all different markets though. Just go to Google and type in what ever forums you would like to find. Example: For skin related products type in Skin Product Forums. It's as simple as that!

This concludes Part 2 of "How To Make The Money You Want." You must get a grip on personal branding before moving to bigger and better things. Another main point of personal branding is that it never stops and once you put this information on the internet, it stays there for people to find for years to come. In Part 3 we will get into free marketing tactics and generating leads for your business. To be successful you need leads! Stay Tuned!
