Before you continue reading, ask yourself the same question that I asked myself tonight. That is

"Why am I not as successful as I would like to be?"

Did you do it? What was the first thing that came to your mind?

It doesn't matter what product you sell, what marketing team you are on, what situations you find yourself in, etc, etc, etc. There can be no blame placed on them. Those are excuses.

I consider myself successful but I believe that I could be more successful than I am if I would get "me" out of the way. What do I mean? Well, just to be honest with you... When I hit a low point in life it sometimes gets me to a low point and creates an idleness within my life, my business, and my personal goals and that "SHOULD NOT" happen. Who's fault is that? It is mine! As I said before, EXCUSES!

In your life, business, or career you have to set goals. Short term goals and long term goals. As you reach your short term goals, your long term goals should be in a clearer focus as you push forward. Think of your goals as your vehicle in the dark, driving down a long country road. Your headlights show you the next 5-10 feet in front of you. Your short term goal is to make it that next 5-10 feet but the long term goal is to make it home. Every 5-10 feet that you make it, you get a clearer focus on the next 5-10 feet. Before you know it, you are home and the long term goal has been met. If you stop the car and put it in neutral or reverse because it gets a little dark, you either stay where your at or move backwards, moving further away from your goals. This is the same principle of "your" goals.

Just a quick thought about my own life this evening that I feel is relevant and can help everyone if they stay on task and keep a clear focus on their goals and continue to move forward.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this topic. Reply to this post and let us all know what you are thinking.
