Holding the curves

I had to take a trip to Tennessee this afternoon and when I'm alone, especially alone while driving, my mind gets on these crazy ideas. (I don't really know where they come from) I'm tired right now but had to get this out so if it doesn't make sense to you, sorry about that. I know what I'm trying to say.
Through the mountains there are many curves and at some points there are sharp turns, literally one right after another. I concentrated on these turns and watched the other cars around me take these turns also. While doing this, I started thinking..... The idea behind these turns can point to our lives. See if you can follow me.
When we first get our drivers license most of us are nervous about taking curves, especially at high speeds. When the curves are coming one after another, it can get really nerve wrecking for new drivers, right? The more that we drive and the more that we experience these curves and turns, the better we become at driving around them. But no matter how experienced we become, some turns we have to slow down on or either we take the chance of hitting the guard rails, running off of the road, or crashing.
Same thing happens in life.
There will always be curves that come up in our lives. That is a given. One of the only things in life that is absolute is "change." What happens when we hit those turns for the first time or we meet a very sharp curve that we have not met before? We may take it a little too fast and wreck. We may turn back and choose a different route so we don't have to take that turn. But if we accept that this road is the fastest way to our destination to where we want and need to be, we concentrate, slow down, and do it. The more experience we get with these turns, although different situations, the better we can handle the next turn in our life.
On the other side of that turn, that scares you so bad, can be the destination of your dreams and the place where you need to be at a specific point in time. So slow down, concentrate, and take your time to get around it. If you don't take it and you turn around and go back the way that you came, you may still get to where you want to be but it is going to take twice as long and the place that you desired to go, could be very different when you finally get there.
