MailChimp Does Not Have a Free Autoresponder

Some marketers continue to recommend MailChimp saying it has a free autoresponder, but these people have obviously never used the service and are spewing bad information obtained from who knows where.
MailChimp does not have a free autoresponder.
MailChimp does offer a limited, free service where emails can be sent, but the autoresponder option is not included.
To use the MailChimp autoresponder service you must pay a monthly fee.
In any event, MailChimp is not a recommended service around these parts because it does not allow affiliate marketing or the type of marketing typically used by members of this forum.
Instead of MailChimp here is a comparison chart of different autoresponders that will better serve your needs.

I used MailChimp with autorepsonders for free for years. Still am. I must have been grandfathered in. No idea when they changed this for new accounts.Posted 23rd February 2014 at 10:45 PM by FitNetworker
