I just sent the following message to my Warrior newsletter. There were some good marketing tips based on a promotion I did earlier this week, so I thought it would be worthwhile to share the details on the Warrior blog.

The day of the referral resulted in 55% conversions and $4.50 per click.
The seller reported this was far and away above average results by any affiliate.

KNOW THE PRODUCT
You know I have done every tactic I mention and own the products I recommend. Not everything is a huge million dollar idea, but if it can make us some money you'll get it.
Too many marketers pitch theory and stuff they have never seen. Increase your credibility by having firsthand knowledge of your recommendations.
ADD A BONUS
Exclusive bonuses work. The SEO product was less than ten bucks and I still took the time to create a bonus report.
With WarriorPlus and JVZoo an affiliate can add their own exclusive bonus to any product they promote.
Do it. Even for inexpensive products.
You can even do this with physical products!
Here is how it works.
You recommend a product and tell prospects to email you a copy of their purchase receipt and you will email back a special report.
Even if they never buy via your affiliate link, you get their email address and contact information. An emailed report is easy to send out.
In the report you can recommend related products with your affiliate links.
This isn't hard. It doesn't take that much time.
But that extra effort and service for those you are in contact with can payoff with stats like 55% conversion rates.
SURPRISING SNEAKY MARKETING METHOD
If you already got the SEO report, or are about to get it:

make sure you review the actual affiliate promotions Leon has done on the website he uses an example.
If you need help finding his pages let me know.
I initially glossed over his pages as a regular promo.
Then I looked again in detail.
Talk about sneaky! The guy is literally creating his own discounts out of thin air.
Assume there are two affiliates for the same product.
One affiliate is promoting Acme and its monthly cost.
The second affiliate is promoting Acme at 40% off.
Whose link will customers be more likely to order through?
The second affiliate has the same marketing material, same links, does not have a special deal with Acme, and there is no 40% off coupon.
How is the second affiliate doing it?
As I said, very sneaky. But you can see example after example by reviewing his promotions.
This tip is not even mentioned in his report, which is all about SEO. But once you get the traffic see what he is doing to convert it.
