Do Not Direct Link to ClickBank Products From Anywhere

There is a new forum thread about Facebook permanently terminating an advertising account for linking to ClickBank.
The posted story is a Facebook representative said Facebook is trying to clean up its ads. Apparently, be more like Google.
For years, if you direct linked to ClickBank from an AdWords ad it has practically been an automatic ban and account termination.
The AdWords experience should have been the lesson, but apparently it needs to keep being learned: whatever advertising platform you are using do not directly link to a ClickBank product as an affiliate.
Instead, link to your own website.
Do not play games and try to use a redirect or link shortener.
Here is my rule of thumb: for advertising on third party services (AdWords, Bing, Facebook, wherever) only direct link to the most reputable of reputable companies. I am talking Fortune 1000 companies and their websites.
And never, ever direct link to Internet Marketing products. You are just asking for trouble down the road even if you think the marketer is reputable and clean.
Another tip: get out of the IM gutter and promote "real" products from "real" companies. There are more such products and more customers. The "IM" niche of "IM" products is amazingly small and for most is not worth the time they spend on promoting it.
