Joint Venturing... the right way!

You are probably dong it wrong! If done right, it can bring in a ton of riches in many niches for you. Its known as Joint Venturing.
I might just mention that JV Partners are not to be taken as golden geese. In stead if you think in terms of how they can make most money with least effort, and at the same time present offers to the people on thier list for which those people will love them, you are much ahead of other "JV Demanders".
Sure you are a seasoned expert at this, but what I really do is...
(Thier= JV Partners')
1. Sign up to their lists and start reading their emails... follow ups and broadcasts.
2. Note down their marketing style (FFFFPFFFFP means they send four free information based emails and then a promotion so they make money)
3. I read their story and personally try to connect to them... Mentally. So that I can see everything from thier pont of views.
4. I also buy a few products that they are promoting... Three benefits. First, they are more inclined to listen to a customer in the first place and second, I can check out the kind of exclusive deqals or bonuses they present to their lists. Third, I come to know that my product is not in competetion with theirs.
5. I create a special bonus right in their style and launguage so they can simply brand it as their own and give it as an "exclusive bonus to their lists".
6. I also create emails in the same build-up format (FFFFP etc) so that they an just fire away to their lists. No work except Copy and paste for them. I even see what autoresponder they are using and then brand the personalization elements accordingly ({!name} for aweber etc)
7. My email is sent in multiple modalities... text, video and audio... all personalized for them. Whatever method they like, they get it that way.
8. I let them know that it is OK with me if they can not promote it right away. I understand they have other things to promote and I do not expect them to change their plans for me unless they want to do that themselves. (As you have said)
9. I also let them know all the numbers as you have said. Also if I am unknown to them, I let them know my position in the IM world.
10. I am open to any form of communication... Phone, Fax, Skype, Email, Video Mails whatever.
11. This is just the starting of a long relationship that I expect to have with them. I would like to reciprocate by sending timely promotions to my list for their products as well.
And Rod! I have to say this... this works! PERIOD. Out of the 5 people I have approached for JVing... 2 responded with a Yes, and 1 with a "Maybe Later" attitude.
All I want to say is that whenever someone is trying to get JV deals, they should know that the other person has some objectives for doing anything at all...
1. They want to maximinze the money they make
2. they want to minimize their effort
3. they want to strengthen the relationship they have with the people on thier lists...
4. They want no too many unsubscriptions
5. they want exclusive deals for the people on thier list
6. They want exclusive commissions for themselves.
7. They want reciprocation and ongoing relationship... one of synergy.
Hope this helps somehow!
