I've been thinking about purchasing a digital camera for a while now and think I have narrowed the choice to the Canon A590IS

Here are a few pros and cons that I have researched.

Pros
  • It is small and compact and can fit in your pocket
  • The shutter is fast. Some digital cameras have a shutter lag.
  • Takes a good photo
  • IS-Image Stabilization. Keeps the photos from being blurry
  • Uses AA or rechargable batteries
