I've seen so many video plugins come and go on this very forum and some from the bigger launches.

One of the most important things that all these plugins should have is s video sitemap. Not only just a video sitemap but one that allows you to add a an image to go with it so when it does rank in the search engines they will see your thumbnail and click to your site.

Be warned when using video players that allow you tube videos to be embedded and look professional. You have to make sure that they don't disable the right click feature where they can still go to you tube to watch if they wish. It has to display the you tube logo prominently, if the logo well read part F of you tube terms of service it states clearly and I quote.

Quote:
If you use the Embeddable Player on your website, you may not modify, build upon, or block any portion or functionality of the Embeddable Player, including but not limited to links back to the YouTube website.
You can find that here Terms of Service - YouTube

So please do your own due diligence because if You tube aka Google decides to worst case sue you it's on you. Best case they just deindex your site which would suck..

So never take the product owners word for it do your own homework.
