'Untapped' Markets are Literal Goldmines...

In order to be successful in any business on the planet you need to be unique, different, a specialist, and more importantly, ahead of the curve.
So how does that translate into Internet Marketing?
The same exact way, actually. The difference is that in IM, choosing a niche, industry, or market is one of the easiest steps. You can go the traditional route and pick a niche that everyone knows and loves, like let's say: the Make Money Online niche, or the Weight Loss niche; or you can go a different, perhaps more profitable route.
Believe it or not, there is WAY more money to be made in a niche that doesn't exist yet.
I know that that makes little to no sense, but let me explain. The reason why so many people, mainly newbies to IM, go straight into the top 3 most popular niches is because it's easy to start with them, there is an overabundance of information on the subjects, and everyone thinks they know everything about those specific niches. I'm mostly talking about the Make Money Online niche, Health & Fitness niches, and Dating/Relationships niche.
But why are marketers so comfortable in these niches? Because IT'S SUPER COMPETATIVE. Most of use have forgotten this, but competition is a BAD thing. Competition means less money, and more headaches for you, so why would you want it?
Sure, you can argue that a competitive market suggests that there is money to be made, because why else would it be so competitive?...BUT, even if you do make money in that competitive niche, your portion of the pie is minimal, if you even get a slice at all.
This is why, untapped niches and markets are where the real money lies.
Imagine if you could become the online authority in your own niche. It doesn't matter what it is. As long as it fulfils a demand, you WILL make money from it.
It would be your own digital monopoly, where you can draw an income from at you pace of your own will. The best part about it all, is that there are so many non-existent niches, virtually every Internet Marketer on this forum can monopolize their own.
You can go into the niche for sidewalk reconstruction outside of restaurants, or the niche for super high end $50,000 laptops, or even the niche for people who have newborn boxer pups. 'The sky is the limit' does satisfy the quantity of the actual limit.
