Script 1 the secretary

How did i manage to bypass the secretary and get to the guys that call the shots below is the answer.

"Customer"Good afternoon **** Gemma speaking.

"Me"Good afternoon Gemma (Must quote name). (How are you today?) Wait for the reply.

(The reason you are asking how she is doing is because she may not be aware but shes involved in a conversation!! ha thats right you already got her involved!!)

"customer" im good thanks how are you.

"me" im really good gemma thanks for asking.
do not pause go straight in, this seems to confuse them.

"me" Gemma ill tell you why im calling.

(you are Telling her.) her brain thinks that if you are telling and not asking then it needs to produce information for me)

i need to speak to either the manager or the person in charge of your Pest control on site Could you tell me who that is??

Customer" oh im sorry he is not in today.

Me" thats not a problem who do i ask to speak to gemma?

Customer" his names Joe Bloggs

"ME" ah gemma thats perfect could i ask you a favour ( now you are friends )
could you let him know that Owen from EPC pest control called and that i'll give him a ring tmw.

Now when you call back he is expecting you and its no longer a cold call and the secretary is expecting your call tmw also !!

Customer" yeah no problem.

ME" thanks gemma speak to you towmorrow bye
Customer" ok bye
