Be honest in your WSO's...

I came across a WSO recently where the seller was selling instructions on "how to" for something that was actually free.
Is that in itself a problem? No. Many IM products are "how to", and it doesn't matter if it's a "how to" on a free *thing* or not, as long as it's a good "how to".
But this seller DIDN'T let people know that they could also get what he was offering for free.
I made comment and he replied by PM...
"You kind of messed up my thread. Were you purposely trying to do that ?"
A valid question, but no. Here's my response -
"...not at all - and I've just made my reply that recommends that people do what you are asking them too.
But it's a little irresponsible to run a WSO on something that is free. What you should do is say... I'm going to show you how to make this great free system work for you.. etc etc..
Be honest, people will love that.
I also suggest that you add a video showing people how to "do it" - yes its' easy for those like you and me who know "how" but not so for absolute newbies."
I've posted this here in my Blog because i'm sick and tired of BS in WSO's. WE (warriors) need to help keep people honest.
Here's the key, "Be honest, people will love that."
And they will. My customers love it, your customers love it. With the changing face of IM going towards SUPER-HYPE, now is the chance for you to stand out from the crowd and be unique...
Tell the truth.
