WSO sales page building time

After some consideration over the weekend, I've changed my mind about not using this blog to chart my progress toward self employment.
I was going to give it up because it seemed every blog I read was nothing but self promotion and seemed kinda spammy, nothing of any real value.
Then I thought, well crap, this is an IM forum right? Maybe they are just practicing their pitch...or not, but why should I give a crap. This journal isn't for everyone else, it is for me. It is MY yardstick. I cannot measure myself by anyone but myself. Everyone has their own level of success and failure, it is THEIRS not mine anymore than mine is theirs.
And a blog is used for what purpose than to inform. Whether that be to inform your readership of a product you are offering, reviewed or what ever. BUT it is also a record of personal accounts that can be useful for others to gain knowledge from as well. THAT is what this is all about for me.
For me to look back on and others to look to for direction. It is the grit in the sandwich on the beach picnik, it is the smell of chlorine in the pool on a hot summer day, it is the...well, I think it is understood now.
