A recent study published shows that converting leads is as simple as following up as quickly as possible when it comes to B2B leads! Speed to call is the single largest conversion factor when an inquiry is made from a prospective lead and has shown to increase conversions as much as 391%!
Personally this doesn't surprise me in the least as businesses and consumers now view the internet as a viable market place and as such judge a businesses professionalism on several factors.
The most important when it comes to making sales is actually following up as quickly as possible once your site visitor submits their information on your site! I know this to be true from personal experience as an insurance restoration contractor!
From my perspective this really ties strongly with any type of online paid advertising at a local or even national level. Paying for clicks that ultimately turn into serious inquiries and then not following up quickly with them is just burning that advertising budget!
