I never had a day job, and I never will!

After finishing up my studies I excitedly distributed my resume' to different local companies here in the Philippines - but not a single reply. Frustrations set in specially when I saw most of my friends doing well in their chosen careers.
I have the skills, know-how and the degree, it's just that luck is not on my side.
I started to formulate a plan - a business plan that would change my life for the better and that is:
MINIMUM EFFORT, MAXIMUM RESULTS!
I started exploring the internet, and saw the potential of selling almost everything to a wide range of consumers.
The Philippines is a third world country, and I saw how hard it is to get a job and earn an honest living. So I decided that if I am to do an on line business I should help the community in general as well - this prompted me to sell on line services and hire skilled Filipino personnel within my reach.
Now, I own www.staffhaws.com - a small outsourcing company that caters to a wide range of consumers who need off shore staff or virtual assistants for their telemarketing and other business processes.
I have hired several skilled Filipino telemarketers and they have sold a lot of products in Australia and in the U.S. I also saw the potential of local visual artists and hired them as graphic designers doing a lot of web development for a range of clientele.
Now, www.staffhaws.com is slowly getting traction and I owe it all to these kinds of forum sites and different blogs with which gave me the tools I needed to kick start my career as an on line entrepreneur.
Now I can say: I never had a day job, and I guess I never will have one.
