What It Takes To Become Successful

Do you have your own online business or want to start one?
I have been online for a while now and I had some important learnings during this time. In this post I want to show you what I found which characteristics are important to become successful (in anything).
Therefore I want to tell you a little story about me. When I was a teenager I was really successful in doing track and field (about age of 16 – 20).
I was Swiss Champion 6 times, twice in high jump, twice in long jump and twice in triple jump.
What do you think does it take to be successful in sports and win competitions?
It takes hard work, you need to work out several times a week. Sometimes you need to do always the same things… but this improves yourself, so you need consistency. And you need a coach who tells you what you need to improve and how to do it. You need focus as well, concentrate on the few things you really need.
Of course it also takes talent.
And, to win several championchips you also need to have the right mindset and self-confidence. You need to know that you can do it, that you can or even will win it.
And you know what’s the cool thing? I did not really actively realize that I need all these things… it was just there. My coach just told me what to do and I did it (I did not question everything or try to reinvent the wheel), was doing my training and was motivated at this age anyway. Well of course, you get a strong self-confidence after winning some competitions. But I realized what was possible if I just be consistent with my training.
Of course I did not win every competition, so I also learned to lose. And sometimes I was disappointed about it… but did it make me stop doing it? No way! Because I knew next time I can beat them all and become even better
Go to my blog post to see the whole story, see my pictures and most important the impressive video about the topic:

Watch and listen to this video (at least the first minute), this shows that you can do the impossible!
