To many newer writers article marketing can be intimidating and may seem almost impossible, but it doesn't have to be that way. In fact, once you get started you may very quickly realize how simple and easy article marketing can be. But how do you reach that point? What can you do to make article marketing easier on yourself?
Start out slowly.
Don't feel like you have to be a writing machine right from the start. Forget what you hear about writers creating hundreds of articles in just a few days, instead set a smaller more attainable goal, such as 3 articles a day. This will allow you to get more into the swing of writing and slowly ease yourself into writing more articles.
Don't let frustration get the best of you.
This is another key point. Article marketing can be frustrating when you're just getting started. (Heck it can be frustrating to even the most experienced article writer at times.) If it takes you an hour to complete an article, be happy with it. Know that as you gain more experience, your time to craft an article will decrease. Don't let how long it takes in the beginning get you down, you will improve over time.
Set goals.
Setting goals is an important part of any form of marketing. If you know exactly what your goals are, you'll be better capable of achieving them. A word of caution though, don't set really high goals to start. Start with something smaller and simpler like getting to 5 articles a day after one month of writing. Or creating a single article in a half an hour instead of an hour, after one month of doing article marketing. Whatever goal you decide upon, make it attainable and you will be more likely to push yourself to achieve it.
