Even the very best of article marketers or writers in any form will come across writers block. You just can't seem to get those words out of your brain, they just seem stuck. The blank page stares back at you and suddenly you can't write to save your life. It doesn't have to stay that way though. With a little creative thinking you can quickly overcome writers block and continue crafting your content.
Tip 1
Switch niches. Pick out a niche you've always wanted to target and haven't and just pump out some articles in that one. Changing gears and then returning to my main one always helps.
Tip 2
Write your articles grouped by niche. If you've got to write 10 articles per niche, in say 3 different niches, write all ten for each one at a single sitting. Having the topic fresh in your mind will makes new ideas pop up. You'll be more in touch and in flow with your topic and therefore easily create content and related ideas.
Tip 3
Always keep a pen and notepad on you. New ideas pop up in the strangest of places. When you get stuck open up your notebook.
Tip 4
Use EzineArticles title suggestion tool. Add in your keywords and bang, you've got a bunch of titles that should spring some ideas into your mind that you can write about, and you'll already have a pretty good title to use as well.
Tip 5
Read. Too many writers don't do this one. I find the more I read, whether related to my niche or not, the less I get writers block. Just getting my mind going and thinking seems to wake it back up when I'm in a writing slump.
Tip 6
Read about your niche. This one should be obvious, but again, many people will never pick up a magazine in their related niche, and are therefore losing out on an absolute wonderful source of ideas.
Tip 7
Just write. Forget about the topic you should be writing on. Just write for the sake of writing. Get whatever is on your mind down on paper so that you can refocus and get back to writing what you need to be writing.
Hopefully these seven tips will help you overcome writers block the next step it impairs your ability to write. Don't let that blank page intimidate you, get your writing groove back.
