So you're sick and tired of working for someone else, either being their employee or their affiliate (the two are very similar in fact) and are ready to take the plunge into product creation, but aren't sure where to start. Well, you're about to discover how easy it can really be.

First step is to pick a niche. Now this may sound simple, and to some degree it is, but the issue arises in the need to pick a niche with BUYERS. Because if you pick a niche that simply has browsers, you're never going to make a sale from it.

So how can we determine if a niche is worth being in?

The easy and quickest way to do that is to type the general niche into Google. When the results pop up take a look to the right. Do you see any ads there? We're not talking the generic, put there just cause ads like e-Bay and Amazon, no what you need to see is ads promoting this item or that item for SALE. If there are ads, then you are on the right track.

Why?

Because product developers are only going ot use paid methods of traffic generation, if they are making money doing it. You want there to be at least 4-5 of these ads (not including the ones we discussed earlier). And don't get overwhelmed if there are pages of them either. It just means that there are a lot of products, and where there are products, there are buyers.

Still not certain about your chosen niche?

Head over to Clickbank and punch in your niche there. See how many items pop up for it. Getting lots, then there is buyers in that market. Check out the gravity. The higher the gravities on the products, the better because it means it is selling, and affiliates are jumping in to grab their peice of the pie.

So now you know you have a market that has proven buyers, you can jump in. And by doing it this way, you are ensuring there is a market for your product, and not searching for the market after you've spent how ever long creating a product where there are no buyers.
