Last time, we talked briefly about offering your prospects an opportunity they couldn’t pass up. You can CLICK HERE if you missed my last post.

Today, we’re going to talk about making sure NO ONE misses your offer. After all, people can’t take advantage of something if they don’t know it exists, right?

You want to expose your visitors to your opt-in form at EVERY available opportunity. No matter where you’re placing your opt-in form – squeeze page, blog, website, etc. – you want it to be HIGHLY visible. In other words, you want to make sure you’re not invisible.

If you’re using a squeeze page, it only has ONE purpose and that is to get people to OPT IN to your list. You don’t want a lot of other distractions on your squeeze page. It should be entirely above the fold, meaning people don’t have to scroll down to read the important stuff.

It should also have an attention grabbing headline focused on what’s important to your potential customer. You can use a sub-headline if it mentions important benefits, but it’s not necessary.

You should have an image of your giveaway or a brief video. Videos should be brief and to the point highlighting what people get for opting n to your list. If you are using an image, use bullet points and add a 3 to 5 of your BEST benefits.

In addition to squeeze pages, make sure your opt-in form is highly visible on your blog and/or website. If not, you’re missing out on subscribers. On your blog, there should be an opportunity to opt-in to your list after EVERY blog post.

Here’s another tip – popups work! Don’t let anyone tell you different. Just be sure to experiment with different ones to get the best results.
