Dear Warriors,
After some consideration we have decided to start our own blog here.
Our blog is supposed to inform you and about the development of
Sportwetten Community - TipstersWorld | Fussballwetten. We would appreciate all sorts of comments, criticism, ideas and opinions. Don’t hold back guys.
At first, a short summary about the idea of Tisptersworld and how it all began.
I and a couple of my friends are passionate sports gamblers. It is not only our hobby, we are actually earning money with it following strategies and using proper money management. Of course, that wasn’t always the case, we all paid our dues the first few years. We have approx 15 years betting experience each.
6 years ago we decided to do more with our sports betting knowledge. We launched our first website. A sports betting prediction site. A couple years later we have launched our own sports betting forum for the German speaking market (Wettforum - SportwettenTALK | Das Sportwettenforum) and a few more smaller websites, all sports betting related. Roughly 3 years ago we had the idea of Tipstersworld. The idea grew basically out of frustration that there was not one website which offered all services sports gamblers needed but had to jump between numerous sites. The vast amount of sports betting related websites made it very difficult to find the quality ones for that one area of betting you were looking for, i.e. life streams, odds comparison, predictions, statistics, forum and so on. So we decided we would launch a sports betting community which would offer everything at once.
This community is Tipstersworld.com. It is supposed to be an online community where experienced gamblers and newbie’s can communicate with each other and help each other. Besides the community it should offer the possibility to place fictional sports betting tips which would be evaluated automatically. The automatic evaluation in particular is something that was not around at that time. We have achieved that with the cooperation with an independent odds comparison site and for the evaluation the result service of a well known bookmaker. Each tipster can now lead a clean diary to track his or her success rate. This was so far unknown as other sites had their tipsters place these bets manually, meaning wrong odds and incorrect evaluation was always possible. We have eradicated that problem at the end, although it has cost us a lot of nerves and money (the integrating of the odds comparison and the result service was very difficult).
Anyway, Tipstersworld is now online for just over 1 year and for about 4-5 month we can say it is running without any bugs. That means that we are now at an interesting phase where we can integrate wishes of our users and change things to the liking of the majority. We have now included following services, of course all are and always will be free to use:
1. Odds comparison
2. Livescore
3. Betting calculator
4. Forum
5. Wiki for beginner
6. Sports live streams
7. Automatic football prediction software
8. Extensive statistics
9. Result service
We now are shifting our focus to the marketing side of things. We need to spread the word and make Tipstersworld a main player in the sports betting community. This is of course easier said than done. Our marketing tools are still fairly limited with some advertisement, link exchanges and general SEO being the main ones. Although we can see a constant rise in visitors and registration, it is fair to say we have thought of a faster rise to large visitor numbers.
I do not want to bore you to death already with my first entry here, so I will leave it for now. I will come back over the next few weeks and keep you updated about the current development of Tipstersworld and will also talk a little more about the problems of establishing a new online community. We have very capable people working in our team and we are excited about the future of Tipstersworld. Our aim is to become the online community for sports betting lovers all over the world. We know it is a long way and we need all the help we can get. So, please do not hold back with opinions, questions, comments and all sorts of feedback (good and bad). We almost prefer bad feedback as this usually leads to change. The closer we can get to the ideas of our users the more successful the site will become.
For now, it is thank you for reading and an even bigger thank you for any comments left.
Andreas
