Here is a good one a lot of you might not have thought of. Nothing is more important then building up your email list right? Well you can get a really hard core list of people who will already know love your stuff. If you are designing your own product to sell to the general public. Great, I congratulate you on your readiness to start a new chapter in your life. It is not easy to do. I have got a little nugget that will help you build your list. Now one thing with today’s internet customers is they are not stupid. Plus a lot of them will not even buy a product if they even suspect that they will get stuck on someone else’s email list. Well okay you can hide they fact that they will be put on an email list. What do I mean by that?
Well say you have created an eBook to sell for $24.95. Okay great, it has a straight up Buy Now Button with who ever your merchant account is with, probably Pay Pal. Well in setting up your button, they always ask you a bunch of questions like how much, what the button should look like, and where to bounce them if they decided at the last minute not to buy. However, there is one thing you can do so you will not have an email capture box on your sales page. It is a pretty easy tactic to employ. The button creation page asks you where you would like to send your traffic after they have bought the product. You then send them to a email capture, or squeeze page, with a message that says thank you for buying my product today. Please input your email address and name so I can send you your product immediately. It is the perfect tactic to build up a massive email list.
Of course they are going to do it, because they have already purchased the item, and they know if they do not do it, they will not get it. Unless it is a physical item how else would you send them the product but through a digital download link to their email. It is a very great way to build a good targeted list. Since you know they love whatever your book was about, and bought it already. Plus, you will not scare off potential buyers who hate giving their emails out, because they will not see an email capture box on your sales page.
