Having been an email marketer for a little over 14 years, in all reality, I have basically used almost every venue available online in order to get my emails delivered, opened, and acted upon.

If there was something new and shiny it found it's way into my ever growing arsenal.

The overwhelming majority of those gadgets now sit on my hard drive collecting virtual dust.

Not to TOOT my own horn, okay , maybe just a little "toot." I always seem to go back to my own proven methods of email marketing success. It is a basic formula but, if I must say so myself, a good one.

Step One: Create a landing/squeeze page offering a valued gift my target audience would gladly pay for and give it to them for a mere first name and an email address.

Step Two: Construct an email follow up campaign that connects with my target readers. One that finds balance between a productive relationship and a sales message that feeds my family.

Step Three: Develop a string of squeeze/followup series that provides a venue for the list member to follow their interest and be deleted from their prior list as to never regress in the profit ladder.

A problem arose in late 2012 in the form of my Mother getting rather sick and needing some special care from those in the family. Being a "stay at home" marketer more or less assured some of that responsibility falling to me.

While I find it an honor to participate in the process, I also understood taking hours to create a converting squeeze page was something I no longer had the time to do. Not just the initial page but also the three or four additional pages needed to split test and assure optimal results.

Being a long time Get Response user, I was surprised when I logged in and noticed a pop up offering a free trial to their new landing page creator. The new landing page creator could not have come at a better time.

Blessing or coincidence? I will leave that determination to you but I am ticking the blessing box.

The landing page creator works on the same principle as Get Response's HTML templates. No learning curve!

An ample list of templates. Whoa! Don't leave. I am not talking about those old school zip files loaded on to your server. You know the ones I am talking about. Those that are still sitting unused because you really just don't know what to do with them.

These templates are just like those in the email function.

Just plug in the copy you want to use, tick the form and assign it to a list, publish. You now have an usable, converting squeeze page. They will even host it for you. That's right. Pound their servers with traffic and they pay the bill.

The new landing page creator is ideal for the fact I can make several in minutes and have them running through the split test before I could ever create the first one using my old methods.

Money loves speed and I am almost positive I am quickly falling in love with the new landing page creator.
