Social Media-The Forefront of Traffic?

With the Google Penguin on the prowl, there have been a lot of "unnatural link warnings" issued to a lot of people.
In my last post, I talked about optimizing for people, and how Google is just out to screw you anyway.
Social media traffic is becoming the forefront of how most people are going to get indexed by this search engine, and how they are also going to be able to make money blogging online.
Social media is going to be the way that the search engines are going to evaluate your site eventually. From the most popular sites like Twitter and Facebook, to the least used, social media is going to be the way Google rates your site for ranking.
Mark my words, the Google Plus social media platform will one day be implemented into the ever-changing algorithm one day, as well as with the rest of these social media platforms too.
If you're not "connected" or don't feel that social media plays a part in traffic optimization, then you are wrong. You really NEED to have some sort of social profile if you want to promote your site or blog.
