Looking for feedback on my squeeze page...

I'm sending targeted traffic to my squeeze page here:

First Date Blueprint | Chief's PUA Blog

But that targeted traffic is only converting at around 7% right now which I think is ridiculously low for targeted traffic... How should I change my squeeze page to increase my conversion rate?

First, saying it's 30 pages is a deal killer.
They want the 1 thing, fast.

Secondly you brought up at the end
"out of your league"..
This brings up his insecurity and existing belief
that he isn't good enough for certain girls.
This means he thinks "well that's not for me...pass"

2 BIG killers there.

Best,

Try cutting the name. You only need an email in fact.

As ewenmack said, remove "out of your league"

Instead of hot girl on the background, why don't you test something that brings emotions as it was the first date. Maybe something more romantic (The girl needs to be hot again). I can't say if it will convert better, but it makes sense.

I'd also change the title to something more emotional that brings better desire. Something like "make her think of you after she gets home. Don't screw up your first date"

Then mention the book is free, ask where to deliver the book, and get their email.

Cheers and good luck

Re: Looking for feedback on my squeeze page...

In a case study I'm writing up now in the personal developement market,
the removal of a attractive looking couple and a light blue water background
replacement increased conversions by 230%. It was Mindvalley's a/b split test.

The thinking why it happened is the reader gets distracted from
the offer. By giving more prominence to the offer you'll get a higher response.

Knowing that insight, it's worth split testing for yourself.

wow. I love the girl! got my attention!!!

agree with Ewen

but my advice IS worth 2 cents

Ewen's has more digits. Take his advice.

when I saw the 30 pages,
I thought "I only last 30 seconds", make it simpler and easier for me!

then, the "1st date blueprint", and in red. I like it.

maybe something that;s new (text = "new", "innovative", "for today's women, 2014")
since this demographic has heard and seen alot of these ads.

good luck.

If you want a picture of a girl in the background at least have her looking at the offer. :)

I agree with just having one email field and not have the name field. Also, try to keep the headline outcome focused. Maybe something along the lines of how to get her desperate for a 2nd date.

I think the picture is wrong - she's too hot for the information you're providing. You're attracting visitors that want to Amaze Any Woman On A Date - not to f*** women.

That women with lingerie, kissing my monitor and moving at the same time gives me the urge to get in bed with her and........ and forget all about dates.

So perhaps try a new background. How she moves is a bit disturbing too because it distracts the attention off the content and onto her.

you got some great advices here. let me add some more.

use tracking software like clickmagick to split test your landing pages. pick up two landing pages, drive traffic to them, at least 300 clicks to each, then pick up winner and continue tweaking, one variable at the time (headline, copy, background image, colour, font color, font size, etc)

One of my best converting landing pages is one with plain black background. Everyone is using cute girls, families, couples, beaches, these days. That's why my simple black background landing page got over 70% conversion rate :)

what do you think about your landing page is irrelevant, what your prospects thinks is the key. so find out what they think

you said you use targeted traffic but really didn't defined source nor what do you think as a targeted traffic. make sure that your traffic is really targeted, and maybe change targeting

I looked at the girls for some seconds than I closed the page. Was there anything else to spot there?

Try to add more content, that will build a sense of knowledge and credibility.. Typography and visual content have a huge impact on these pages... and you should expect around 20% Conversion if it really is selected target traffic..

Re: Looking for feedback on my squeeze page...

The girl is good, but her moving kind of distracted me every few seconds. I guess it is common with gifs. Maybe it is my short attention span. haha) But, I would definitely recommend choosing another background, from user's perspective, not designer's.
