How can i compel my users to buy?
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hello,

This is my website:

Hackbook | Learn How to Hack eBook | Hacking eBook

I've added reviews provided by users to express their gratitude towards the eBook. I've added all forms of legitimate reviews possible. Is there any other way to make the website more compulsive

Are there any drawbacks?

Thanks,
John

Hi,
you can try to add live chat to your website and send auto-chat invitations to the potential customers based on the invitation rules you set, such as the time on your site. LiveAgent includes this feature and many more like:
ticketing system, analytics, pre-type messages...

It´s multichannel so you won´t loose any communication with customers because they are not only going to call or chat with you, but will try to contact you through various channels such as email, Twitter, Facebook, contact formulars and all queries you can easily manage in one software.

First off, move your site to WordPress and make it look more professional. Publish a page promoting your book rather than using a blog post. For example, you can move that blog post to your home page and then use the blog to publish informative articles related to your ebook/niche.

To make more sales, do as much as you can (or write as much as you can) to convince potential customers that they need your ebook. Add obvious 'buy' links/images several times within your content. If they are text links, use a bigger font size and colour. Make them stand out.

Do you know how to hack Facebook so you can see the people who view your profile? I'll buy your ebook right now as well as give you some pointers on your website if you do.

I'm only saying this to help, as it's the honest truth and that's how I am.

To me, it looks extremely cheesy. Starting at the top of your page, the font choice for your menu is way off, that's something you'd find on pinterest... are you marketing to teen girls with this report?

Most importantly the logo and background give no immediately 'hack feeling' when I hit the page. Look at your ebook cover, that devious piece of work has HACK HACK HACKER written all over it, as soon as you see the black and green colors, BAM.. that's hack stuff. That should be used on your logo and background to immediately strike that emotion into people.

Hacking is bad, dark, and mysterious, so it should feel secretive, like someone is whispering this page from a dark alley.. not like we're on TeenBop.com (idk if that's real, I just made it up, but you get what I'm saying)

Then the sales copy need a lot of work too.

For starter, your ABOUT HACKBOOK section is so weak, I'd go running for the hills instead of buying this ebook, because it seems as if you're completely down playing it's ability to teach us even the basics, but up above I see it's full of tools and resources, so which is it? Can it teach me hacking or will I be left in the dust afterward? Right now it seems I won't really get anything from it, because you're busting your own balls over it's credibility.

When I click the 'take a peak into hackbook' link I SHOULD be prompted to sign up for a free part of the ebook and get promotional emails to sell the full book. Ideally I'd learn something most beginners wouldn't know, without getting the actual goods.

Instead, you have a page with a VERY busy graphic that's all over the place and visually, very off putting. For some reason I thought I remembered seeing the words Easy to Understand and then seeing this huge mess of arrows everywhere... at first glance that ain't easy... it's too much and I'm outa there for something easy.

I almost forgot the price, $21.2 that's not even a complete number and why would you choose it? 19, 17, 24, 27 or 29 will convert better. The one now is really odd looking.

People like easy, we skim pages, and we need to desperately want the solutions an info product can provide if you expect us to purchase it.... your page should be portraying that.

Hopefully you understand what I'm saying here, I'm not trying to be a jerk... I'm just giving you some really good advice for why your page isn't performing like you want it to.

That was dead-on Victor.

John you might even go as far as to include a popup for visitors who are leaving your site (mouse out of page area) that asks them what they wanted to hack on Facebook, and then reassure them that they will learn it in your ebook with a quick summary of all that's included.

Honestly from 0 -10 I rate it -1.
You haven't read any copywriting articles... read and learn more, that won't make you any sales.

You don't have even the basics such as having a headline at the top. Seriously go learn copywriting and you'll learn yourself what's wrong. I think it's totally wrong to tell you that's any good.

Part of the problem may be the price. Also a lot of people are interested in hacking but may not necessarily want to become a hacker. Just my thoughts.

It doesn't emphasize on becoming a hacker. Rather, the basics of hacking . I don't see how I'm missing that point.

When I first started out marketing I believed that the more people I catered to the better. Turns out that the opposite is true. You would do better trying to narrow your message to a well defined group.

One last thing . . . seems these days LESS is MORE. Keep your page uncluttered with a clear message.

Actually I'd certainly try Ginoman's idea, these popups are known as highly-converting tools, and there are plenty of free softwares on the market, and also really good ones that offer free trials. Could be worth a shot!
