Landing Page and Sales Page

Recently,

I have joined two MLS companies. I think they're both great company's that have the potential to make me a lot of money. My up line helped me create a landing page and a sales page. They look real nice. I'm told that the landing page conversion rate is 40% and the sales page is 3-5% conversion. However after collecting over 600 leads, I still have zero sales. What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be great! I have collected leads from facebook, youtube, and have purchased some.

The first thing I would do is take this advice:

"If You Can Click A Mouse You Will Make Money. Instant Cash Deposits To Your Account. No Selling or Sponsoring Required. Impossible Not To Make Money!"

and start clicking your mouse.

When you say MLS do you mean MLM? And if you have over 600 leads the problem won't be on the landing page but on the sales page. Or the consistency of the message. You need consistent messaging from the: Ad ----> Landing Page ----> Sales Page -----> Product to have good conversions.

Also, I'd ask your uplink where he is getting traffic to get numbers like those and look to duplicate that.

What am I doing wrong?

Probably:

#1 Un-targeted or poorly targeted traffic.

#2 Listening to people who say you can get the same results they do.

#3 Not building your own business but some one else's.

Could be a million other things.

The problem with your website is that it's seriously crossing the lines of over-promising. You're not converting the "freebie" list into "payers" because your follow up doesn't deliver as promised. Review your backend product and craft your sales letter to be more realistic to your paid offer. Yes, you might face lesser opt-ins, but they will definitely be more receptive to your up sell and down sells.

I'm kinda surprised you got all those opt-ins. It's probably a bunch of web marketers wanting to see if one of the "top guys" is at it again rolling out some new get rich quick thing. People used to be skeptical. Now they're just plain insulted.

for some reason the forum isnt letting me thank, but this is a great reply. also, think about prequalifying your ads to target buyers, if that makes sense. use your ad copy effectively and yes your whole follow up sequence and your selling point. also, brand and customize your funnel as much as possible

The first landing page frankly looks cheesy to me (printing money in the background - seriously?). Do such dreamy stuff still sell, especially those attached to "pauper to King transition stories" and then the king giving away his kingdom for a measly $18 or something like that? Even the hardcore scam products have better landing pages...but, maybe that's just me and I don't intend to insult anyone.

If I were a subscriber I would never want to sign up on that page. Again, no insult intended.

As far as sales (or no sales as is the case here) are concerned, I think there's something seriously wrong with the ad copies. The traffic sources you mentioned are pretty much standard, but if your ad copies are not consistent with what your subscribers get after subscribing you wouldn't make sales.

Also, I think for such get rich quick schemes it takes a lot of explaining to do before someone actually pays up. People have decided not to be stupid any more and that makes your job even more difficult. Your creatives and swipes need to be really top quality to make turn your subscribers into paying customers.

I opened both links, and I was greeted by some dramatic words. I clicked them out of sheer curiosity. I haven't read your email yet. I think this is what most of your customers did. you can get them to give you your email because they are curious. Now your offer decides if you make a sale or not.

yah I opened it and checked, you're not making sales because your offers seems like something that is too good to be true. you need to promise less, and give your customers more. In your case, it seems like the opposite case.

There are six sentences there. And from what we know, 5 of them are absolute lies. You have zero income disclaimers as well. Not only are you blatantly lying to people, but you could have a serious lawsuit on your hands with those claims.

I get it, you're trying to sell the opportunity. But you're going about it all wrong. You are making promises you can't deliver on. How would you feel if you bought into that lie, and did nothing but lose money? It wouldn't feel good.

If you want to prove to prospects that what you are promising is possible, you borrow credibility. You don't make claims that you can't back up and are complete lies.

Did someone in your upline make $100K+ this year?

Probably. If you go high enough.

Great! Now you have facts that you can build on. (You'll still need an income disclaimer)

Instead of making those lies, change your headline to something like this:

Brian from Salt Lake City, Utah Made Over $100K This Year Doing This...
(And Now He Wants To Show YOU How YOU Can Do It)

Or something like that. Borrow credibility. Don't lie.

You'll also need a link to an income disclaimer stating that Brian's results are not typical, etc....

Are your two companies are complementary? You could be shorting your self by trying to build two at once. I would suggest picking the one you have the most passion for and work on dialing your in funnel and followup, once you start getting conversions you can scale.

The Internet is evolving. Gone are the days you can trick people with that headline. There's not much information about you on those pages. People won't believe what you're going to say would be genuine. They can't even see your name. You've got to make it better than that. Would you subscribe to a sales page like that? I guess no.
