Landing Page Review - No conversion

Hi,

I develop and run SEO for out website World Relocations Group and the site is up for 2 months and not much conversion is coming in.

If you have time, please give it a look and post your review here on whats missing, elements needed to convert traffic using our forms and contact us channels.

Thank you.

I would like to test all pages, but Countries & Requirements does not redirect me anywhere. Some problem here. I like your design very much. But for some reason I got deslike of the color of buttons on Services, Blog, FAQ, Contact Us pages.

I like your comment, we actually have the same observation, but troubled to what color should I maintain.

My biz partner chose those pics, but do you have any suggestion to what color to stick with? use images buttons or just texts?

Thanks.

I made some changes, removed the image buttons and replaced with a custom menu for sidebar.

Hi, rameeadam,

From first observation, it looks like the page is too full with navigational distractions.

You have a great sales video there, why not have it auto play?

Your page main purpose is for people to get a quote, but it seems like your page offers too many things at once: sharing the page, opting in to get ebook, optin popup, etc...

This landing page should be optimize to do just one thing. Otherwise you're creating too many visual 'call to actions'.

Hope that helps!

Re: Landing Page Review - No conversion

Some basic questions for you... what's more important, your video or your logo? What's more important, getting the visitor to opt in for the free booklet / getting a quote or the fact that you are partnered with "Plant a Tree"

As much as you can, let the page load and look at your message with new user eyes... what does your company do? What am I getting a quote for?

Now as a marketer answer this: What is your Unique Selling Position ( USP )

At this point I was going to link to the leaders in your industry and point out how they are answering the questions I just asked, and you know what... they don't. Mayflower is the better of the 2 big guys, but 2 men and a truck knock it out of the park!

This is right on par with what you have... wow
Movers - Moving Companies - Moving Services | Atlas Van Lines

Getting warmer.... The imagery helps here..at least you have an idea of what service they provide.
Moving Companies | Movers | Mayflower Long Distance Moving Company

There it is a decent USP Way to go 2 Men and a Truck!
TWO MEN AND A TRUCKĀ®, Movers, Moving Company, Moving Reviews

I guess all I can say is learn by contrast.... Atlas is the worst, and 2 men is the better of the 3.

Hope that Helps!

Re: Landing Page Review - No conversion

@rameeadam, you have no clearly articulated value proposition, as stated above. The most of your visitors don't have a clue what your site is all about. The second aspect is that you completely rely on your video explaining what kind of service your company does actually provide, which is not a quite good approach, the video should be only a supplemental element of your LP, but not the main one.
CTA is poor also, ppl don't know what they're asked to be quoted for. Also I would suggest not to use any poor stock images, they make your site look bungle and spawn no trust.

The design itself looks amateurish. Try to hire some mid-range trendy web design studio

Good luck!

Thank you so much for these gold mine comments and advice. I am new to internet marketing and struggling. We will implement these suggestions that applies to us and do a testing.

The site template we are using is already been installed and looking forward for a better design in the future once business is profiting.

Hope you guys will continue to shed time for my queries in the future here. We are looking into getting a US base internet marketing consultant as the business progress.

I just had a look and the site looks good but It is not easy to see you are a legitimate company because you don't list your ACN or ABN and when I started digging I found Melbourne Freight Services at the same address and they don't list their company details on the website either.

Call me a bit skeptical but if I was entrusting my worldly goods to a removal firm I would want to see their address and company details quite prominently.

I'd expect a TOLL Free phone number also.

I'd kind of expect an Aussie accent in the video unless your target market is overseas.

I'd also add some testimonials somewhere...not necessarily on the home page but it may help.

Social sharing buttons are distracting and you are going to get shared if you are good anyway.

Is the Top menu geotargeted or does everyone see "Moving to Australia" ?

Maybe test changing the "request a call back" to "Live Chat"

People want instant answers.

Just a few thoughts...

Another consideration... your pop-ups are falling behind your video. there is a bit of coding the video URL that will correct that.

Code:

src="//www.youtube.com/embed/1GDalTGiSy0
 ?wmode=opaque;autoplay=1;controls=0;&showinfo=0"

adding the ?wmode=opaque should correct that issue for you.

Testimonials would definitely help. I don't see it on the homepage. Plus the video can get boring easily - when the animations stop and the voice just keeps on going.

Re: Landing Page Review - No conversion

Some good suggestions so far. Here are some things I noticed.

1. Your logo is too big. It's the first thing that people notice. You're probably trying to get some brand recognition, which is fine but the main objective is to get people to request a quote.
2. Like your logo, that Live Help is way too big and too prominent. Why would somebody need help if they aren't sure what the offer is?
3. Moving Overseas? & Moving Domestically? are good openers but there is no benefit. I would change it to a headline and sub headline like so:

Moving Overseas? Moving Domestically?
Experience a smooth and stress free move with us.

That gets people's attention who are moving and proposes a benefit to them right away.

4. Move that navigation to the bottom of the page if you really need it at all.
5. Same with all of the social sharing buttons and the widget. It distracts from the critical path of requesting a quote.
6. The icons in the content appear to be from more than one icon set. The house doesn't match the support girl or the savings icon.
7. I would remove the two links in the opening paragraph. Again, it derails the conversion path.

The rest of the page is actually done pretty well. The explainer video is good too. It would be cool to see some of the characters from the video added to the content.

Here is a screenshot of something I put together to give you an idea of where I would make major changes.

Hi Ozi!

I'd expect a TOLL Free phone number also. = we dont have one yet, so we added skype for free calls. Almost all smartphones have skype to do instant call to our customer representatives.

I'd kind of expect an Aussie accent in the video unless your target market is overseas. = yes we operate in Australia, but its international as well.

I'd also add some testimonials somewhere...not necessarily on the home page but it may help. = this is one of our goals to achieve, still compiling them. tnx.

Is the Top menu geotargeted or does everyone see "Moving to Australia" ? = everyone sees it.

Maybe test changing the "request a call back" to "Live Chat" = we implemented this. thanks.

We eventually reconstructed one of our page to better understand what we can do for everyone.
Moving to Australia | Overseas Moving Company

Let me know if its understandable enough or needs more details.

Thanks.

I would agree with a lot of the previous comments and I would say your overal design is good but a few minor changes will make it better. I would also suggest having a submission form. In the top right space. Offer the prospective client a free E Book of some sort perhaps, something along the lines of "helpful tips when preparing for a move." This is something you could write yourself or get a good copy writer to do for you. It should add real value and be something that makes there moving experience easier and less stressful. People would be happy to volunteer their info then.

If you are going that route provide the solution in the graphic immediately.

Step One. gather your documents.

Step Two. Call one of our helpful representatives

etc

Step 3 . Sit back and relax because you know a professional is taking care of things.

Needs a strong call to action not additional confusion.

"Tired and worried your household possessions are Rotting away on a dock somewhere?"

Call World Relocations Group...experts at reuniting families with their possessions.

You need better copy than that but there are people on the forum who can advise.

Re: Landing Page Review - No conversion

I am going to ask the same questions again... is your logo REALLY that important that it takes 33% of the screen above the fold? I personally... would place the phone number in the top nav bar. Live chat... why not try that below the CTA button on your contact form? something like "need assistance Now?" right below.. the live chat button.

Those few steps will bring your headline and nice looking info graphic right to the top, and make it a center of attention!

Very much agree with Oziboomer. #1 #2 #3 needs to be CLEARLY defined

The first video presentation you shared, and this infographic... you are without question on the right track. Its just getting these elements presented in a way that they become the FOCUS, and allowing them to do their job!

@Savidge4

Thanks for this, for now we need to emphasize our logo for branding, and yes we will minimize the logo and space soon.

Live chat updated and phone number.
I tried to remove the header for other pages, looks good, i hope that was the one you are referring to.

thank you
