New landing page/Opt in Design
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

I'm working on a new landing page/squeeze page design and need some help. This is what is above the fold. The opt in form pops up when you click Get Started Now. The three issues I am aware of right now are that I have to get the text to align with the bullet images, I have to change the text in my logo to uppercase so that it matches the text on the ebook cover, and I have to change the G to a D in the spine of the book cover images. Other then that, please let me know what you think.

If this is the home-page then It looks appropriate. If it's a separate page and the attention is primarily to get people to opt-in then remove the tabs at the top because you don't want people getting distracted and looking elsewhere.

Other than that just test it. You'll only improve once you split test and get the conversions you expect.

Looks decent. The only thing is that foolproof is spelled incorrectly (you put Full-proof). Grammar errors can deter potential customers since it lowers the professionalism. Fix that that mistake and you should be golden!

I also recommend taking advantage of the A/B Split testing in LeadPages to test out different landing pages and LeadBoxes and see which ones convert better for you.

you have to remember with page design and figuring out where the fold is, you need to reduce yourself to the lowest common denominator of screen size. at even as larger as 1920 x 1080 your call to action is below the fold. I try to work within 1024 x 768 to get maximum viewing potential.

On your CTA I might try something like "Start your Discovery Now"

Wow, beautiful squeeze page!

I personally think the headline can still be improved. Try coming up with headlines that are more benefit driven.

For the first CTA, try: "Download Now", "Get Access Now", "Profit Now", or maybe even just "Continue >>".

For the second CTA, try something suppostitonal, like "Yes! Send it to my inbox!" or "Let Me Grab The E-book!"

What's important is that you should be testing non-stop, until you have a real winner. The more testing you do the more you learn about copywriting, and what your market responds most to.

Test the headlines first, then the CTAs.

Hope that helps!

I love the design but would try to improve the copy especially on the actual optin form. People don't want a complimentary e-book they want to "profit on penny stocks. Maybe something more along the lines of Enter your email address below and discover how you can profit on penny stocks today. Work that out a little better but you get the idea. Focus more on the benefit than the medium.

As an Adwords Professional, My suggestion would be as follows :

1) Show some testimonials or a case study, to gain the user trust.
2) Include a timer or show this as a 'Limited time offer' to create an urge in the consumer mind
3) Educate the customer that not signing up will lose you alot of money.
4) Realize the customer that money & time is the key here, and this book can save your thousands of dollars and time.
