Tracking Signup Conversions with Analytics. Guys, Lets say there is an Ad campaign running on both FB and Adsense. Both sends the visitor to a free signup.php page. After Signup the exit page for tracking conversion is refferal or thank you page. Now lets say 10 people came from FB and 15 from Adsense. How do one track the which brought the lead FB or Adsense. UTM parameters are there for both and set correctly for the AD url. Thanks |
Re: Tracking Signup Conversions with Analytics. I can't seem to really understand what you're trying to say. If you have the UTM parameters set correctly then you should be able to track whether the lead was brought in by FB or Adsense. |

FB Ad visitors - 10 Adsense - 12 Total 22 people visited the signup page today. But there were only 2 signups. Now which ad platform converted the signup is the problem. :smilies_confused: |

Your hosting plan is not charging you by the page... take advantage of that and create a landing page for each and every traffic source! |
Re: Tracking Signup Conversions with Analytics. it all depends what you are using for tracking. by adsense are you meaning Google ad words as a traffic source, if so you can use a 3rd party tracking solution like improvely and set up a 2 separate campaigns to track each traffic source. or you can use the conversion pixels on google and facebook, each traffic source has conversions pixels which you can place on your thank you page and once a visitor lands on the thank you page it will let you know what traffic source got the sign up |

Adwords > Landing Page > Signup Page > Thank you page. So when someone clicks the ad it goes to Landing Page. From there user clicks on Signup Page and once signed up successfully they are taken to Thank you page. So instead of just landing them to Signup page or having the signup integrated to the Landing page they have that approach which i think won't work to track conversions perfectly. Any tips :smilies_confused: |

So you have that person call their "IT" guy and have them set up 3 different replicate pages or however many you think they will need now and in the future and get your tracking in order. If it cost this person money to do so, don't you think it is money well spent? |
Re: Tracking Signup Conversions with Analytics. set up utm tags, and setup 2 goals in analytics one to track who clicked to the sign up page and the other to track who signed up or you can create 2 different conversion pixels in facebook or adwords, that will allow you to track each goal set |
