Best Landing Page A/B Split Test Services
 

Hi Everyone,

I want to test my current landing page against two or three new versions including a basic VSL I am working on, a better version of the current long-form sales letter and a slight tweak to the existing sales letter.

I used to use Optimizely as it was easy to use and had good support. However, it looks like it has now gone more 'corporate' with no visibility as to pricing and no direct support - I think it is now a forum style approach.

Can anyone recommend some good services to do A/B split testing at a reasonable rate? And which is easy to use with good support?

I use analytics primarily and on occasion use Visual Website Optimizer ( VWO.com ) - like the split URL testing for certain wordress / woocommerce testing. and use Optimizely's free version for a few things as well.

VWO - Visual Website Optimizer I think is fantastic and their support is knowledgable and quick to reply to any of your needs.

Second VWO..use it on a constant basis for clients and ourselves.

I've had good results using the free version of Optimizely. The only thing I can't figure out is how to test changing an element that appears on every page of the site.

A lot of people seem to be recommending or using them on the Warrior Forum and in other places.

Consider also trying Marketizator.com, which I'm also part of :)

If you'd like to simply test version A vs version B, I'm biased but I think our product 3 Minute Optimizer might be a good fit.

What makes us different is we only focus on simple AB tests (pagea.html versus pageb.html, for example) rather than trying to do everything.

Hi Everyone,

I originally posted this message at the end of March 2015, asking for which A/B split test services people would recommend.

I had some suggestions as you can see. However, despite using different services I had issues with some of the services I tried in terms of cost, which can escalate quickly as your traffic increases, and also what kind of traffic was included in the testing.

The funny thing is that back in March there was also the ClickBank Roadshow here in London, England. I met several ClickBank Vendors and Affiliates there.

I e-mailed one of them, who makes his living entirely from ClickBank, working 1-2 hours per week. I explained my issues with A/B Split Testing and the different services available.

From this conversation, we spontaneously decided to actually create our own A/B split test service which we have named Split Test Pro. The essence is that it has been created by two ClickBank Marketers for other ClickBank Marketers, both Vendors and Affiliates.

I use Split Test Pro for my own site, as does my business partner for conducting split testing on his site.

We have also completely changed the economics of split testing. For one fixed price per month ($47), regardless of the size of traffic, you can do as much split testing as you like. And you can use this with all of your sites. That is ridiculously good value compared to many of the other split test sites I have used in the past.

The site allows you to pure A/B Split Testing which is trying up to four different pages and then seeing the results of your call to action e.g. clicking on a link, signing up to an e-mail newsletter or making a purchase.

Alternatively, you can also just test two different options within the same page. E.g. two different headlines or two different prices etc.

As I said I had no idea at all I would ever be launching my own A/B Split Test Service! My original intention was to be testing for myself as I have heard and read many times, if you are not testing, you are leaving money on the table!
