Hello, I spend a lot of money with Adwords and want to share with you a tip that can save you some money. If you're using the Display network and pay for hundreds of clicks and receives very little conversions you might receive untargeted clicks from Mobile applications and games. To check this go to: Display Network -> Placements and check where do you receive clicks from. IF you see "Mobile App:..." Most of the times you will promote some kind of service or a product, but you will find out that you have paid $100 to a funny Mobile App - played by kids, that accidentally clicked on your ad. If the list of all placements is full with "Mobile App:..." and you don't want to pay for those clicks here's what you can do: Under the list of the placements there is a "Site category options" menu - click on it and exclude "GMob mobile app non-interstitial" & " In-game" - this options will exclude your ad to show in mobile apps. But sometimes this doesn't help and if you still receive click from those Mobile Apps, navigate to Settings -> Devices at the bid adjustment of "Mobile devices with full browsers" set "Decrease by 100%" - this way your ad won't show up on mobile phones. Cheers, |
