Hello fellow warrior...

I think i already do my best for making a squeeze page....
change the headline,
change the graphic,
put my transformation photo....

here's my squeeze page:
Trainhardlivesimple.com

But why it just converting
about 10% for opt in ?
I'm expecting 40%...

If the guy in the image was turned about and looking at the opt-in box... I bet that would make a night and day difference.

Also, I think the headline could use some work. It seems like a lot to read. It depends where users are coming from but make sure the value is known very quickly.

Call to action button copy could use some work too. I'd make it value based. Maybe something like Start Building Muscle Now

I've done conversion work for many big companies such as Expedia, The Boston Globe, Kobo Books, Firestone and more...

Change your button call to action. Also your headline is quite long and I am not sure you want the first word to be "FREE"...

10% is doing ok. Don't expect to leap instantly to 40%.

Plus conversion is way more than just changing an headline. Where is the traffic coming from? Quality of traffic is quite important too...

Cheers
Dan

There are a number of mistakes including your sub headings being too long to certain words you've chosen to use in your copy. However, the biggest mistake is that you use stock photography and that your only testimonial is pictures of yourself.

We have to take care about Call to Action, and put this on the front of the website, so that visitors would not be bounced.

The guy above the fold has an incredible physique but pretty ugly face. I would find someone better looking.

There is too much text to read.

The font is too large and it should just be the form and that is it.

Also where is the traffic coming from?

Do they know you?

Have you provided value up front?

Hi, I am new here but having long 13 years of experience in Conversion rate Optimisation.

Some are already given you some very good suggestion., here is mine...

1. Shorten your headline to 2 lines... 10 to 15 words. or completely delete left side content and use a bigger opt-in form with a Headline, place your photo at the left side and at the right side the opt-in form. You may try 2 step opt-in instead of opt-in form.
2. Face your photo to opt-in form, the man of the photo should look at the opt-in form.
3. Put a 2 step opt-in button with a call to action after each section & of-course at the end of the page. Button text can be 'Send my Free Report'

I do believe it would increase your conversion rate, but cannot guaranty your expected 40%. None can....

Wishing you very best of luck...
Thanks...

People are also not taking into consideration the audience expectation. There is not a lot of positive expectancy in the landing page. For example you have a ripped dude on the top, then yourself after just over a 'whole year' of bulking have only managed an increase of 13.2kg which is not pure muscle either as evident in the pics........

Sorry, but as a serious lifter myself I know people looking for a shortcut or boost would want to see a greater transformation in that time period. What you have achieved (with the assumption of the product) is not positive enough for your audience.

If possible change your headline to something like "Discover How I Gained 13.2 KG In 5 Months Just By Eating The Right Stuff Coupled With This Awesome Workout Program"

Change your transformation time to 5 months also.

Hope that helps....

You'll NEVER get 40% Optin Rate in this market, unless you're paying an arm and a leg for extremely targetted traffic.

Being in the Male Performance/Health niches myself, you have essentially two groups of people that would be remotely interested in your offer:
  1. People who are well versed and educated on the subject
  2. People who are expecting amazing results with little to no effort

Your offer does not cater to either group appropriately.

If you want any more feedback, I'd suggest showing us your ad swipe, or traffic source. Knowing this initial piece we can probably help bump you to ~20%, but 40% is honestly pretty hard to hit in this market. Doable, but not easily.

Your focus should never be on 'optins' but the value the optins create for you. How much are optins worth to you? If you're not monetizing your funnel yet, that's where your focus should be on. Don't kill yourself trying to squeeze more optins into a funnel that's just not performing.

your before and after picture are not that impressive. You need to be shirt less and show unrealistic results .

40% in optin is too much. Unless you have very high targeted traffic and an awesome landing page that offers great value to them. Try first to increase it to 20% that's about the double of conversions.

Don't be hard on yourself. If you go in expecting 40% you are likely setting yourself up for disappointment. 10% is great to start with, now you have a baseline and you can measure the succes of your changes.

I think it's to cluttered. There is way to much info above the folder. The form should have one direct CTA , you don't need to explain wht the boxes below are for, they are self explanatory to enter your name and email.

I also wouldn't start the page with FREE. Generally the flow of any copy should be:

Interrupt
Engage
Educate
Offer

SO, what's the problem people who are coming to your site trying to solve? How are you going to fix that problem for you potential customers. Educate them on what you can do with some case studies and testimonials then offer them something.

TIP: Use something like Hotjar, super cheap tool and gives you tons of UX metrics to help you improve your conversion rates over time.

There are a few things that resonate with me on your page as simple improvements to get you a higher conversion rate on this page and any others you may create for content or opt ins in the future.

I hope you don't mind, because I'm going to give you a lot of review here.

I'll go section by section.

TOP RIGHT

First of all, it's a bit difficult to see at a glance what I'm getting for opting in to your email list. You want to be AS DIRECT AS POSSIBLE what the benefit for opting in is, and easy to read. For example, on the right you say:
You are only Minutes Away From Learning What It Takes to Develop Muscle !

This is a bit ambiguous, because I may not be exactly sure what I am getting, especially as someone who is quickly gathering information. I'm learning what it takes? I'm not sure exactly what that means, and because I can't be sure, it just doesn't resonate as TRULY motivating.

I'd also say you can try a brighter color on the submit button, such as yellow. It's also been shown that "YOUR EMAIL WILL NEVER BE SOLD,RENTED OR SPAMMED." can actually lower conversion rates slightly. These are small things, but still worth considering.

TOP LEFT

Additionally, let's talk about the left side. You say 13.2kg. Where I come from, we use pounds (lbs), and so I cannot understand exactly how much weight that is effortlessly. (I had to go get a conversion on Google just to make sure I was right). To me, 29 lbs is MUCH more impactful, because I instantly understand how much that is.

If you're advertising to people in countries where they're only using kg, this may be just fine for you. You can always segment country wise.

I also think you are being ambiguous by saying "eating the right stuff". Direct, specific would look like - "eating the right foods". Are you saying stuff because there were also supplements? Say "eating the right food and supplements". I also would prefer you said "An Awesome Workout Program". By saying THIS, you are implying we know what it is, and that it is possibly somewhere on this page.

As for the subtext, you say: "Spending Too Much On Worthless Expensive Supplement"
This is a bit confusing of a statement. Again, you want to fine tune this to be as direct and simple and obvious as possible. It's a bit of a paradox. It's like you're implying they wont spend too much on worthless supplements.

Really, the benefit is they WON'T waste money on worthless and expensive supplements, not "waste too much" getting something worthless. I understand what you're trying to say, but again, it can fine tuned greatly. For example:
.....Without Using Steroids Or Wasting Your Money On Worthless Expensive Supplements!

You of course, could also consider saying something like "hard earned money" but that might just make it less easy to read.

You may want to consider taking away the "5 Months" part. However, you may also want to leave it. Without it, you may be setting people up for disappointment when you tell them it took 5 months. With it, you are weeding out the people who want the instant fix (which is sadly, most people). I would consider trying both, and see what your product CONVERSION is (not just opt in). You may benefit from becoming really good at getting people to overcome that 5 month aspect in your emails. They need to FEEL IT.

BEFORE/AFTER PHOTOS

Your transformation is not obvious enough. Maybe cut it down to 1 picture each, and make it REALLY obvious how much of a change there has been. It's obviously a huge transformation, but from your pictures, it does not appear like it. Maybe take a picture right after you work out (and show some warrior-like emotion... okay maybe that's just me).

WHAT THE FREE REPORT SHOWS YOU

You are bolding and making large the wrong things, starting with "8 UNLOOKED FOODS FOR BODYBUILDING". The key benefit here is the "8 unlooked foods", not "for bodybuilding".

Again, with the second point, the benefit is "How to use fast food as a diet" in bodybuilding.

And again, the third benefit is "the top ten low cost foods" for bodybuilding. Of course, the bodybuilding part is important, but it's not a benefit itself.

If I scan your benefits, here is what I take in:
FOR BODYBUILDING
IN BODYBUILDING
FOR BODYBUILDING
IN BODYBUILDING
FOODS!

See what I'm saying? Hope that helps.
