Help with conversion rate

From the outside my business seems great. We've got a social audience of nearly 140,000 daily traffic ranges from 500-1000+ sessions but conversion is low and some days non-existent. Is there anything I'm doing hugely wrong? Swallows&Daggers | Tattoo Clothing & Streetwear. is my url.

Hugely wrong? could be... I will assume you are the artist... you are creating "Your" style.. but the reality is "Your" style is probably hitting 1/10 of 1% of the people visiting your site.

I don't have to say this to you but the Tattoo world is very splintered by style and even technique. Your printed art needs to stay true to "Your" form of art ( Tattoo ) but maybe not so much "Your" style, if you get what I mean.

Throw "Your" style on a steampunk inspired design... I see you did some "Punk" inspired work before.. get deeper into that.. shoot for a more mainstream biker image ( again with your style )

Basically what I am saying is diversification may be whats wrong. break that barrier that is "Hey that's cool, but its not me" give a little somethin somethin to a greater amount of people and see what happens.

I agree with Savidge,

While your niche is not that narrow, it is still a niche.

Here are a few suggestions:
- There are too many options, leading to paralysis of analysis. There are 20 different images on the home page alone. Lead with three that are representative or maybe your best sellers and leave the rest in the shop page.

- Your opt-in pop tells me virtually nothing about what I'm getting. Give me a straight benefit on it.

- I feel like your website is a bit hard to navigate. Take a look at Zara.com. They've really optimized their web presence for an amazing UI.

- The holy grail of this would be to build a brand image. Just like buying an Apple is buying into the Apple mindset and tribe ... buying Zara is buying into the slim, thin, fast-fashion vibe ... Lee Cooper is about being young, hip and cool so should your brand signify something.

There is a message right now, dark, Gothic urban but so are the other 5000 competitors. You need to narrow it down and clarify what you stand for.

Good luck,
Razvan

Sounds to me like we need to take a look at the sales portion of the marketing funnel. First things first. Have you already reverse engineered who is currently successful in your market?
